The Museum of Broken Relationships

I read about the Museum of Broken Relationships before I travelled to Zagreb. Once there, I knew this was one of the places I wanted to visit, as it had grabbed my attention with its unusual premise. It began with two artists who broke up and met to give each other their belongings back. But then they had the idea to put those items in a museum as a tribute to their failed relationship. Over the years their museum grew with thousands of people sending their stories along with mementos from their broken relationships.

Harry Potter Exhibition

So there I was in Valencia last month, walking around being a tourist when a random Platform 9 3/4 appeared next to a subway station. This is weird, I thought and proceeded to take pictures with it.

Time Traveling in Vienna

It was my birthday recently and, as is the case with many people who suddenly find themselves older than they felt they were, I started contemplating life and the relentless passage of time. Appropriately, amongst my presents were two tickets to the Time Travel Museum in Vienna. I know what you are thinking (maybe) and no, sadly, time travel isn’t real and this is not a museum of Doctor Who related stuff.
