Last week was excruciating. Perpetual sun, no clouds in sight and temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius. Hey, remember VH1? It was like MTV but for your parents? Well, apparently, it has changed quite a bit since the last time I have watched it and, like MTV, is producing fictional shows. Oh and we are the target group now.
Bratislava’s weird and awesome, alien looking UFO tower on the Nový most is a bit shorter than Vienna’s Donauturm and is “just” 95 meters high. I’ve been inside only once. After an amazing day spent in the city, I managed to go up shortly before I had to take the bus back to Vienna.
Cat Cafés may be popular in Japan, but Europeans have proven to be less open minded when it comes to mixing their pets with their tea. Attempting to change that, there is a Japanese cat café in the small streets of central Vienna. Café Neko, deriving its name from the Japanese word for cat, is one of the alternative coffee houses that the city offers. Continue reading “Cat Café”
