Last November my boyfriend and I spent a weekend in Copenhagen. We usually love exploring a city on foot, unless we absolutely have to use the public transport, but in Copenhagen we decided to take a canal tour for a different approach than the one we were used to. It was a wonderful way to get warm next to the boat heating and see a big part of the city without being exhausted at the end of it.

The canals of Copenhagen hold many secrets. Some more mysterious than others.
The boat tour was free with the Copenhagen Card, which I can’t recommend enough for budget travellers like us. It let us do a lot more and see a lot more things than we would have otherwise done or seen. Especially in the cold days it really helped to be able to go into a castle for a few hours without having to worry about spending too much money in a city that is already one of the most expensive ones.
Very interesting. In Helsinki there are many cruises, but the best cruises are on our lakes! Mid-summer Cruises are awesome for example.
